My spiritual quest began in earnest in 1968 with the advent of a dramatic cosmic opening in my consciousness. In an instant, I came face to face with a form of Devine force never before experienced in my life, and I knew I had touched Truth. I won't go into the circumstances that propelled me into this extraordinary and powerful awareness, but you can probably guess how it came about.
From that moment, I knew I had to accomplish this deep connection through my own inner means rather than from outside assistance. I began studying and practicing many mystical teachings. I attended Satsangs, workshops, and read assiduously. At one point I was in the presense of a great Guru, Muktananda, and was 'zapped' by his energy.
After that episode, I became a life student of Mello Rye, a Cherokee Sun Priestess who taught "How to Work with the Energies." She passed on in 1991, at an age well over 100 years old.
I practiced for six years Kiya Yoga under the guidance of Roy Eugene Davis, one of the last two living deciples of Paramahansa Yogananda. Roy was ordained by Paramahnsa to give the "transmission."
For several years back in the late 70's and early 80's, I belonged to the Fellowship of the Inner Light, a group that constellated around Paul Solomon who was a psychic trance channeler, much like Edgar Casey. Paul taught what he called "Inner Light Consciousness"
I studied numerology under the world renowned figure, Lynn Buess. He taught the Pythagorian method. His own practice centered mainly on relationship issues, using numerology as a tool for guiding couples into more harmonious connections.
From these and other teachings, trainings and constant exposure to enlightened beings of various levels, I developed my own inner guidance, and designed my own form of numerology which I call spiritual numerology. I've written a book on this approach called "Numerology for Soul Awakening." This book forms the basis for the study course I created called "Joyful Numerology."
In addition to my numerlogy work, I lead workshops that encourage self-development into higher awareness. This is a process tool that is in the form of a board game called "The All Game." to learn more about the game, please visit http://theallgame.com I have been an All Game Guide for about 30 years. I teach others to become guides as well.
Aside from all this "spiritual" activity, I write novels. For me writing fiction is acutally another form of my spiritual practice. I keep a blog about my writing career: http://vitaebergmansbooks.com
Thanks for reading this brief sketch of my life's work.
Cheers, Vitae
